Warfel Construction is preparing to begin an interior overhaul of the existing three‐story Ben Franklin South Residence Hall at Franklin and Marshall College. The $2.0 million project includes removal of all built‐in furniture, complete bathroom renovations, upgrades to the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and updated finishes throughout the 40,000 square foot dormitory. Originally built in 1964, the residence hall houses 110 students. The project is designed by RLPS Architects of Lancaster, and is scheduled for completion prior to the 2015 Fall semester.
