Warfel Construction recently broke ground for an expansion at the Foxdale Village Continuing Care Retirement Community in State College, PA. The project, a 2,800 square foot Natatorium Therapy Facility addition, consists of 900 square foot 2- lane therapy pool featuring ramp accessibility and aquatic rehabilitation equipment. This pool will offer Foxdale Village the ability to provide therapy services to those who would otherwise not be able to participate due to health restrictions. Renovations to existing offices, common spaces, and locker rooms are also included. A heavy timber beam structure over the pool deck will help support an arched metal ceiling. Designed by RLPS Architects of Lancaster, the $1.4 million project is scheduled for completion in October 2015.
