Warfel Construction recently broke ground on a $10 million Athletic and Recreation Pavilion at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. The 27,000 square foot expansion of the college’s existing Dixon Center fitness facility will feature a two-story atrium with a glass curtain wall that envelops the space with natural light. Views to the upper level fitness area keep this area open and dynamic. Additional spaces within the new addition include a weight room, a large fitness studio for group exercise programs, and various classroom spaces. Renovations within the existing facility account for approximately 11,000 square feet and include the Cabrini Hall of Fame, fitness area, locker room and athletic office upgrades. The project, designed by Philadelphia architectural firm of Wallace Robert and Todd (WRT), is scheduled to open for the Fall 2016 semester.
