On September 22, Warfel and several of our trade partners hosted a sensory-sensitive Touch A Truck event to benefit Aaron’s Acres. Children and young adults of all abilities were invited to touch, explore, and learn about construction equipment provided by local community businesses.
Aaron’s Acres provides individuals with special needs, ages 5-21, year-round therapeutically based age-appropriate recreational programs directed by specially trained and certified staff in a supportive environment that enhances socialization and communication skills. Emotional, educational, and recreational support is offered for the entire family. You can learn more about Aaron’s Acres and their mission here.
