East Petersburg, PA – On August 1, Warfel Construction Company broke ground on a new residential and healthcare facility for the Sisters of Divine Providence in Allison Park, PA. This 71,000-sf three-story residential building includes 90 additional rooms, some individual and others apartment style, and will have community and support space on each wing. Several site improvements will be made as well, ranging from outdoor dining terraces to walkways to site lighting.
With almost two months underway since the project began, a significant amount of progress has been made on site, specifically with site demolition, tree clearing, removal of existing structures, and the start of bulk earthwork activities in preparation for the new building foundations to begin.
Warfel is partnering with Derck & Edson Architects, Providence Engineering Corporation, Moore Engineering, and Clark Food Service Equipment for this project.
The project began in mid-June 2021 and is set to wrap up in August/September of 2022.
