Warfel Construction Company recently received three awards from the Keystone Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors at the Annual Excellence in Construction Awards dinner. The event recognizes contractors who perform work throughout central PA and the surrounding areas. Warfel received a first place Award of Excellence in the Medical Renovation category for the Lancaster General Health – Heart Group Outpatient Fit-Out project located at 217 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. The new Outpatient Center replaces former tenant space on the first floor of a recently vacated two story medical office building. Approximately 80% of the space was completely gutted and retrofitted while the remaining area was renovated and upgraded. A fast-track project, the renovations were completed within 4 months. Warfel also received the Award of Merit in the Renovation, Over $1 million Category for the historic Lancaster Central Market Renovations in downtown Lancaster and in the Institutional, $10 – $25 million Category, for the Eisenhower Elementary School and Grace Milliman Performing Arts Center in Camp Hill.
