Warfel Construction is pleased to announce Amber Kern, LEED AP, has been promoted to Project Manager. Additionally, Bryan Niles has joined Warfel as a Preconstruction Manager.
A graduate of Bucknell University, Kern served as a Warfel intern specializing in sustainable design and construction prior to joining Warfel full-time in 2011 as a Project Engineer. As Project Manager, she is responsible for complete project oversight, coordination, schedule, and budget on a variety of projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. A LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) Accredited Professional, she is currently managing several projects including a $32 million student housing project for Bucknell University. She resides in Reading.
Joining Warfel’s preconstruction department as Preconstruction Manager, Niles is responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects throughout the design and development process. He is currently overseeing nearly $60 million of work, providing estimating, value management, scheduling and constructability review. Niles earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering Concentration and a M.E. in Civil Engineering with a Construction Management Concentration, both from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
