Warfel Construction Company recently began construction on two YMCA projects. The $1.4 million Ambler Area YMCA, a branch of the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA, project involves a 14,000 square foot addition featuring multi-purpose space and workout studios. Designed by Kramer-Marks Architects of Ambler, this project is scheduled for completion in December 2014.
Located in Exton, and a branch of the Upper Main Line YMCA, the Lionville YMCA project involves an 11,000 square foot, two-story addition onto the rear of building, expanding the existing fitness center. It also includes additional smaller renovations throughout the facility as well as an expansion to the parking lot. A February 2015 completion is scheduled for this $1.8 million project. The architect is Architectural Alliance of Wilmington, DE.
