Fulton Financial HQ's Board Room and Conference Center Renovations

Overview of Boardroom and Conference Center

The Boardroom and Conference Center Renovations helped Fulton Financial/Fulton Bank reimagine an underused fifth-floor space inside its Lancaster headquarters. The 11,000-square-foot project created a cutting-edge executive boardroom and a 188-seat multimedia training center. Because the headquarters remained occupied, the renovation needed careful planning around daily business and downtown site constraints. The work included complete demolition and rebuilt, major structural modifications, full MEP redesign, high-end finishes, and advanced AV systems. From the start, the project balanced a polished corporate vision with the realities of an active workplace.

Boardroom and Conference Center Renovation Scope

Fulton Financial’s new executive boardroom and multimedia training center gives the headquarters dedicated spaces for leadership, learning, and team development. Custom millwork, premium finishes, and fully integrated audiovisual technology shaped the finished environment. The 188-seat training center adds room for employee development and larger presentations. Meanwhile, the boardroom creates a refined setting for executive strategy and important conversations. Together, these spaces feel professional and modern while remaining focused on the people using them each day.

Active Headquarters and Structural Work

The renovation also required demanding structural work within an occupied corporate headquarters. Warfel removed existing steel columns and installed two 80-foot transfer beams through carefully sequenced overnight operations. This approach helped avoid disruption to daily business while major work continued above downtown Lancaster. In the city’s tight footprint, rigging and crane logistics required precise coordination. Value engineering and constructability reviews also uncovered cost-saving opportunities without compromising the design.

MEP Redesign and AV Integration

The full MEP redesign and advanced AV integration were central to how the new spaces came together. Those systems needed to support the boardroom, training center, finishes, lighting, and daily use. As a result, planning connected technology, structure, and building systems instead of treating them as separate pieces. That coordination helped the finished rooms feel seamless, functional, and ready for meetings, training, and presentations.

Project Completion and Headquarters Renewal

Warfel completed the Boardroom and Conference Center Renovations ahead of schedule for a critical board meeting. The project also finished with zero safety incidents. The finished space gives Fulton Financial a modern hub for executive strategy, employee development, collaboration, and training. It also reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to Lancaster and its future. Just as important, the renovation respected the work continuing inside the headquarters throughout construction. That context made each construction sequence matter.
