Overview of Falcon Pointe Independent Living
Falcon Pointe Independent Living Apartments created an 85,000-square-foot, four-story building for Tandem Living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The building includes 35 two-bedroom residences designed with modern living, personal choice, and everyday comfort in mind. Four floor plans, Lilac, Lotus, Marigold, and Zinnia, give residents options that fit different preferences and routines. The Lotus and Zinnia homes also include a den, adding flexibility for how each apartment can be used. As a thoughtfully designed independent living building, Falcon Pointe offers the convenience of apartment living while still creating a comfortable place to feel at home.
Falcon Pointe Residences and Personalization
Within Falcon Pointe, the apartment layouts pair private living with thoughtful everyday details. Residents could use Warfel’s Virtual Design Modeler (VDM) program to review interior upgrades before move-in. Selections included cabinet colors, paint colors, tile options, fireplaces, and other finishing touches. These choices gave residents a chance to shape small details that make an apartment feel more personal. The process also helped them picture their future homes more clearly before final selections were made.
Shared Spaces and Campus Connection
The community spaces within the building help daily life extend beyond each apartment in a natural way. A first-floor multi-purpose room gives residents a welcoming place for gatherings, events, and shared use. On the fourth floor, the rooftop lounge and party room offer another setting for time together. From there, residents can enjoy views of downtown Lancaster to the south. These spaces create opportunities for connection while still respecting the privacy of each apartment. Together, they keep community close without taking away the comfort of having a home of one’s own.
Bluebird Building Connection and Systems
The building connects to the existing Bluebird building, completed by Warfel in 2018. Indoor access between the two buildings helps residents move through campus spaces more easily. Behind that connection, a basement pipe tunnel extends essential mechanical and electrical systems into the new building. This tie-in helped the new apartments connect with the existing campus while supporting efficiency and functionality.
Falcon Pointe Independent Living Building Completion
The completed building brings together private residences, shared gathering areas, finish selections, and indoor campus access. For residents, it offers a setting shaped around comfort, choice, and connection. It feels personal while still keeping the convenience of a larger campus community close by. The result is a welcoming independent living environment with room for both privacy and community close to home in a thoughtful, connected way
