The Headquarters and Manufacturing Expansion for Aerzen Properties in Coatesville, Pennsylvania grew from planning already built into the original campus. Ten years after the original headquarters opened with lean manufacturing principles and organic design, Aerzen needed a major expansion. Instead of adding square footage alone, the addition created a collaboration hub with meeting rooms and a café. Those spaces gave the expansion a shared center between two different workplace areas. They also made the connection between office and warehouse functions feel more useful within the campus. As a result, the addition carried a clear purpose beyond added space.

Instead, it carried forward proven choices that already belonged to Aerzen’s campus.
