The primary objective of the comprehensive renovation and reinvention of the Kendal Health Center was to incorporate the new household model of housing for its skilled and assisted care residents, and to provide state-of-the art wellness features such as the indoor therapy pool, fitness center, and other resident care services. The health center is the central core of the campus, a place where not only the residents that require care live, but also where the main dining venue, mail area, and social event spaces are for all residents on campus.
Involved for nearly two years prior putting a shovel to the ground, this complex five-phase project encompassed in excess of 101,000 square feet of renovations and additions throughout virtually every area of the Health Center.
