Overview of Pheasant Pointe Independent Living
The Pheasant Pointe Independent Living project added a 39-unit apartment building to Tandem Living’s campus in State College, Pennsylvania. The three-story community marked Tandem Living’s first apartment building addition in more than ten years, offering storage on each level and private patios or balconies for every unit. The building also connects with the existing Bluebird Wing and dining features; the layout gave residents easier access to amenities and a stronger sense of connection across campus. That same resident-focused mindset carried through the work, with careful coordination, quality control, and consistent communication helping the Warfel team ensure each resident had a seamless move-in process and complete satisfaction with their new apartment.
Pheasant Pointe Independent Living Apartment Features
The Pheasant Pointe Independent Living apartment building includes three floors of residential living designed around everyday convenience. Storage space on each level gives residents practical room close to their apartments, while patios and balconies extend each unit outward with a personal connection to outdoor space. Together, these features support day-to-day comfort while helping the new apartment complex feel connected to campus life. With those details, the building stays grounded in the everyday needs of residents.
Campus Connections and Apartment Layout
The apartment building’s connection to the existing Bluebird Wing and its dining hall helps residents move between the new apartments and established campus destinations. Because this was the first apartment building added in more than a decade, its placement needed to relate clearly to the surrounding community. The layout brings new residential space into the existing campus fabric while keeping dining access nearby, giving the building a clear connection to the services and gathering spaces available to residents.
Move-In Experience and Project Completion
Warfel’s work on Pheasant Pointe Independent Living emphasized careful coordination, quality control, and consistent communication. Those efforts supported a seamless move-in process for residents entering their new apartments. The team’s attention to resident experience helped carry the project from construction into occupancy. The completed building adds 39 independent living apartments with storage, outdoor space, and campus connections. It also supports Tandem Living’s residential campus through a building planned around comfort, access, and resident satisfaction
