Overview of the Residential Apartment Building
The Residential Apartment Building & Façade Renovations project added new independent living residences at Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill. Located in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, the project included a four-story apartment building with 60 high-end units. Residences range from 800 to 1,100 square feet, giving residents different home sizes within one campus setting. In addition, the rear of the new addition connects to the existing campus community building. That connection keeps Masonic Villages’ extensive amenities close and gives the building a natural place within campus life.
Residential Apartment Building Layout and Residences
The new apartment building expands independent living options without feeling removed from the community around it. Each residence sits within a four-story building designed around high-end living and everyday convenience. Meanwhile, the range of unit sizes gives residents room to choose a home that fits their needs. Since the building connects back to the existing campus, the apartments stay tied to shared amenities. That relationship helps the addition feel like part of a larger community, not simply another building. It also makes the new residences feel connected to the places residents use throughout the day.
Campus Connection and Facade Renewal
The rear connection to the campus community building gives residents direct access to Masonic Villages’ extensive amenities. That access matters because it links private residences with shared spaces already central to campus life. Alongside the new construction, the project also included refacing the main building facade. This work brought new curb appeal to the entire campus and refreshed the arrival experience for residents and visitors. Together, the building connection and facade work improved how the addition relates to the existing campus.
Project Completion and Resident Experience
Warfel helped tie the residential addition and facade improvements into one campus-focused scope. The completed Residential Apartment Building & Façade Renovations project adds 60 independent living apartments. It also strengthens the connection to existing community spaces through the rear building tie-in. The renewed main building facade gives the campus a refreshed public face and improved curb appeal. For residents, the project offers high-end homes with shared amenities close by. For the broader campus, it adds a welcoming update. That combination gives the work a practical, resident-focused purpose. The work feels useful, connected, and respectful of the community already in place.
