This project consisted of a 58,000 square foot expansion of this senior living community’s existing Glatfelter Center (the main campus community center). Comprised of one 14-unit assisted living household and one 12-unit memory support household, each one-story building was constructed as its own wing. Designed to provide a home-like environment, each household includes resident rooms, a living room, dining room, and country kitchen. Shared community spaces include meeting and multi-purpose activity rooms, a fitness/exercise/rehab center and a large informal dining room. Renovations within the Glatfelter Center included upgrades to the main kitchen and dining area, as well as updating other common spaces.
