Village Green Apartments Rooted in Long-Term Partnership
The Village Green Apartments renovation continued Warfel’s long-standing work with Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. That relationship spans more than 100 years, which gave this first phase meaningful campus context. The 12,154-square-foot project focused on the Daman and Dauphin buildings within the Village Green area. Their renovation began a larger five-phase effort that also includes Grand Lodge Hall and other apartment buildings. Because this work opened the broader plan, it needed to balance immediate resident needs with long-term campus direction.
Village Green Apartments Designed Around Larger Homes
Before construction, the Daman and Dauphin buildings each included 20 outdated units. Through renovation, each building became nine much larger apartments with updated amenities and a modern aesthetic. That shift gave residents more generous homes while keeping them within a familiar part of campus. Just as importantly, the work placed refreshed interiors inside the historical stone architecture Masonic Village is known for. The result feels renewed without losing the character that connects these buildings to the larger community.
Construction Services and Field Coordination
Warfel’s Construction Services division managed the quick turnaround renovation across an 11-month schedule. In-house carpenters and laborers supported the work, helping keep speed and quality aligned with client expectations. Since the project involved existing buildings, field coordination needed to stay practical, steady, and responsive. Crews moved renovation activities forward so interior work, finish installation, and turnover connected cleanly. That approach helped the Daman and Dauphin buildings move from outdated units to completed resident homes with less disruption.
Modern Amenities in Historic Stone Architecture
The completed Village Green Apartments renovation brings larger layouts, modern amenities, and refreshed interiors into two established buildings. At the same time, the historic stone architecture keeps the homes tied to Masonic Village’s campus character. This balance matters because the project improved daily living spaces without replacing the setting residents already recognize. As the first Village Green phase, the Daman and Dauphin renovations also helped shape the path for future updates. The work shows how careful renovation can honor existing architecture while making resident spaces more comfortable and useful.
Delivering Value Through the First Phase
Warfel’s services helped deliver this first phase with practical execution, in-house support, and respect for a trusted partnership. For Masonic Village, the renovated Daman and Dauphin buildings offer lasting value within a familiar campus setting. They also give the larger Village Green effort a thoughtful start for future phases.
