From the first day and throughout the entire construction project, safety and an efficient use of resources always seemed to be in the forefront of the project. Many Eurofins Lancaster Labs employees commented how quickly the project was moving, how organized the job site appeared, and how courteous Warfel employees and subcontractor were to them […] The project moved forward at a better than anticipated pace and with no disruption to the work schedule. In fact, the project was managed so efficiently that we ultimately had access, and therefore use of the building, two month earlier than anticipated at the start of construction.

Warfel’s commitment to understanding and embracing the Lean construction process made this experience positive from the beginning. Input from all team members, transparency, and continual collaboration with all team members helped drive the project forward. Warfel consistently encouraged the trade contractors involved to dive deeper into lean methods, particularly pull-planning as the scheduling technique, which ultimately resulted in this fast-paced, phased project to be completed as scheduled.
