    Ethical, honest, and genuine are the guiding principles defining Matt Hartzler’s business and leadership approach. With a robust background in construction and a reputation as a community leader, Matt has been an invaluable asset to Warfel Construction Company throughout his career.

    Matt’s journey with Warfel began in 1995 as a Project Engineer. In 2002, Matt took on the role of Assistant Manager of Operations, and his leadership skills quickly led to his promotion to Vice President/Manager of Operations and Partner in 2007. Demonstrating an exceptional ability to lead and drive team success, he ascended to President in 2012. His strategic vision and leadership acumen were further recognized in 2021 when he was appointed President/CEO.

    In his current role as CEO, Matt’s primary responsibility is to shape Warfel’s strategy and direction, ensuring the company’s continued excellence in the dynamic construction landscape. His collaborative approach, working closely with architects, trade contractors, and owners, fosters innovation and efficiency in every project undertaken.

    Beyond his professional commitments, Matt remains deeply connected to his community, serving on the boards of Water Street Ministries and Mennonite Home.

    Conlan’s journey with Warfel began in 2008 as a project intern, marking the inception of his career characterized by an unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional experiences. His deep-rooted commitment to Warfel’s “Clients for Life” mission permeates every facet of his work, reflected in his leadership style, energetic approach, results-driven mindset, and genuine care and concern for his team and partners.

    Ascending through roles of increasing responsibility, Conlan’s dedication and expertise culminated in his appointment as President in 2024, a testament to his exceptional leadership. Previously, he served as Vice President of Operations, spearheading operational activities, ensuring efficiency and fostering organizational development.

    Conlan is a firm believer in the power of cultivating enduring relationships, a philosophy he applies not only to client interactions but also to nurturing the growth and advancement of team members and trade partners.

    Beyond his professional endeavors, Conlan channels his passion for community service through various avenues. He serves as Vice President of Lampeter Strasburg Youth Football, a board member for Conestoga Wood Specialties and holds the position of Vice President for CrossRoads Mission Haiti, demonstrating a commitment to meaningful impact beyond business.

    Conlan’s contributions both within Warfel and in the wider community reflect his values of integrity and compassion, making him an invaluable asset to the organization and the communities we serve.

    Don brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Vice President of Real Estate Development. With a focus on assisting clients with their real estate needs and optimizing their holdings, Don is known for his exemplary service and commitment to our clients.

    Having previously held the position of Vice President of Business Development, Don’s passion for cultivating lifelong client partnerships has been instrumental in propelling our team to success.

    Outside of his professional commitments, Don is deeply involved in his community, demonstrating a strong commitment to service and leadership. He has held esteemed positions on the boards of organizations such as the S. June Smith Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy, Rotary Club of Lancaster, Central PA Chapter of SMPS, and the First United Methodist Church.

    Additionally, Don has generously contributed his time and expertise to various initiatives, including serving as the BSA PA Dutch Council STEM Camporee Chairman, a member of the Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner committee, Cubmaster of Pack 102, and Eagle Scout mentor for Troop 99. He has also coached recreational soccer and baseball for Manheim Township, further exemplifying his dedication to community involvement and mentorship.

With a keen understanding of the current economic landscape and a finger on the pulse of both local and national trade markets, Sean excels in navigating all phases of the preconstruction process.

    His diverse background includes service as a United States Marine, coupled with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. This unique blend equips Sean with a multifaceted perspective on team dynamics, process optimization, and client relations. Driven by an unwavering commitment to efficiency, Sean consistently explores novel approaches to problem-solving, enriching client interactions while fostering a resilient and cohesive preconstruction team.

    Outside of work, Sean dedicates his time to community service. He proudly serves on the advisory board of the Lancaster branch of the Salvation Army, demonstrating his passion for making a positive impact beyond the workplace. Previously, he contributed his expertise as a volunteer with the Lancaster Chamber’s Small Business Committee and as a board member of the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County.

    With a wealth of hands-on experience, Brad specializes in identifying novel solutions to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry. He collaborates closely with Warfel’s Facilities Management and Special Projects Group to develop tailored strategies for clients with unique, small-scale projects. Brad’s approach prioritizes client satisfaction and operational efficiency, fostering strong relationships with both clients and field staff.

    Beyond his role at Warfel, Brad is deeply engaged in community development efforts, serving as a board member for the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board. Through his involvement, Brad actively contributes to initiatives aimed at fostering a skilled workforce and promoting economic growth in the region.
