Steve Davis Promoted to Vice President Virginia by Warfel Construction

East Petersburg, PA – Warfel Construction announces that Steve Davis will be joining the executive team and has been appointed Vice President, Virginia.

According to Conlan Swope LEED AP, Vice President of Operations, Davis has been instrumental in leading their Virginia expansion initiative as part of the company’s strategic plan.

“Steve has been working tirelessly over the past three years to help build our team in Virginia, set up regional operations, and establish new Clients for Life in the region,” Swope stated. “We are excited to have Steve’s insight and regional experience help provide strategic direction for the organization.”

As Vice President, Virginia, Davis will continue to lead Warfel’s strategic expansion into the region. With a wide range of experience specifically with complex, multi-phased renovation and expansion projects, Davis has a passion for developing long-term relationships with Clients for Life and providing them with best-in-class experiences.

Davis’ experience with Warfel has included noteworthy projects such as Avenue Development: The Residence at Fitz Farm, Westminster Canterbury Shenandoah Valley, Acadia Reading Hospital, Pleasant View Hybrid Homes, among others.

Lynn Promoted to Director of Business Development

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Colleen Lynn has been promoted to Director of Business Development. In her new role, Lynn will be responsible for providing leadership to Warfel’s business development team, activities, and strategies to develop relationships with new Clients for Life.

“Colleen has shown high initiative and teamwork as she quickly developed new Client for Life relationships for us,” said Brett Calabretta, Vice President. “We look forward to her growth and leadership in this new role.”

A graduate of West Chester University, Lynn joined Warfel in 2022 as an Account Executive. She brings 21 years of experience in business development to her new role.

She lives in West Chester, PA with her husband, Micha, and three children, Patrick, Joseph, and Haleigh.

Hoffman Promoted to Project Executive

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Rusty Hoffman has been promoted to Project Executive. In his new role, Hoffman will be responsible for complete project oversight, ensuring client satisfaction while establishing and leading a high-performance project management team.

“Rusty’s character and team-first mentality has been integral to fostering strong team dynamics and success for both clients and teammates on his projects,” said Conlan Swope, Vice President. “We are excited for his organic growth through the organization and to cheer him on in this next chapter.”

A graduate of Penn State University, Hoffman joined Warfel in 2007 and has since been an integral force in expanding our behavioral healthcare portfolio. He is currently managing three behavioral health projects for Acadia Healthcare in Moosic, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, and New Castle, DE.

He lives in Boyertown, PA with his fiancée, Ariel, and their four dogs, Riley, Kona, Ziva, and Brody.

Beiler Promoted to Safety Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Jason Beiler has been promoted to Safety Manager. In his new role, Beiler will lead Warfel’s safety department in the evolution and implementation of company-wide safety standards, including support of our enhanced training program and relationship development with subcontractors.

“Jason has been instrumental in elevating our safety culture, working with trade partners and employees to implement proactive safety measures and supporting our jobs with pre-installation meetings and safety stand-downs,” said Michael Monaco, Director of Risk Management. “We look forward to his continued growth in this new, well-deserved role.” 

Beiler came to Warfel in 2017, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the construction field to the company, as well as a Construction Health & Safety Technician designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

He lives in East Lampeter, PA with his family, where he volunteers as a firefighter and president of the Lafayette Fire Company.

Bullard Promoted to Risk Management Coordinator

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Daniele Bullard has been promoted to Risk Management Coordinator. In her new role, Bullard will be responsible for supporting safety administration, Warfel’s Subcontractor Risk Management Program, insurance program management, and claims administration.

“Daniele has been instrumental in the development and implementation of our insurance and control programs across several projects,” said Conlan Swope, Vice President. “We are excited to see her initiative and growth within the company.”

A graduate of Pittsburgh University at Bradford, Bullard joined Warfel in 2019, transitioning to the construction field after a career in athletic training and sports medicine.

She lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband, Justin, and her two dogs, Theodore and Franklin.

Troyer Promoted to Project Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Duane Troyer has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new role, Troyer will be responsible for complete project oversite, budget, coordination, and schedule for a variety of projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

“Duane has lived out our core values and has shown his ability to serve both his teammates and Clients on a consistent basis,” said Vice President Conlan Swope. “We are excited to see his continued growth as he steps into his new role and takes on new projects.”

A graduate of Messiah University, Troyer joined Warfel in 2017 as a Field Engineer and has worked on a variety of projects, including Lancaster Behavioral Health Center and Centre Care Skilled Nursing Facility. He has been handling the responsibilities of Project Manager on the Eurofins Lancaster Labs projects.

Troyer lives in Lancaster, PA with his wife Paige, son Bentley, and dog Dudley.

Ault Promoted to Accounting Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Alan Ault has been promoted to Accounting Manager. In his new position, Ault will be responsible for formally managing Warfel’s day-to-day financial reporting and annual budget process. He will also be leading an internal team to help manage overhead costs.

“When he joined Warfel, Alan had an immediate impact on the quality and capacity of our team,” said Tony Smith, Vice President. “He has been a key leader in several aspects of our financial reporting, and we look forward to seeing him continue to grow in his new position.”

Ault joined Warfel in 2019 and most recently served as a Senior Accountant. He lives in Landisville, PA with his wife Heather and their children Aubrey and Ethan.

Kingree Transitions to Director of Business Development

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Guy Kingree has transitioned to the role of Director of Business Development. In this role, Kingree will be responsible for providing leadership to the company’s business development team, coordinating pursuit of potential projects, and creating strategies to partner with Clients for Life.

“Guy’s high initiative, strong work ethic, and commitment to his clients and teammates have allowed him to successfully grow and take on new challenges at Warfel,” said Brett Calabretta, Vice President. “We are eager to have Guy’s experience managing complex projects infused into our business development approach.”

A graduate of Penn State University, Kingree joined Warfel in 2009 as a Project Engineer. He served as a member of Warfel’s project management team, and most recently was promoted to Project Executive in 2016.

Kingree lives in Denver, PA with his wife Jackie and son Crew.

Shulenberger Promoted to Vice President of Construction Services

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Brad Shulenberger has been promoted to Vice President of Construction Services.  He will continue to oversee the Facilities and Services Team and the Special Projects Group, and will be joining the firm’s Executive Team as part of his promotion.

“Under Brad’s leadership, the Facilities and Services Team and the Special Projects Group have worked with many of our current Clients for Life, as well as establishing relationships that have created new Clients for Life,” said Matt Hartzler, President / CEO. “Through his leadership, we look forward to growing our Construction Services to best serve our Clients. Shulenberger joined Warfel in 2016 with the Special Services Group, where he worked with the team to transition the group to the Facilities and Services Team. When the Special Projects Group was created in 2020, Brad was instrumental in its development.

Shulenberger lives in Lancaster with his wife Christine.

Cotter Promoted to Vice President of Preconstruction & Estimating

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Sean Cotter, LEED GA to Vice President of Preconstruction & Estimating. In this new role, Cotter leads the Preconstruction & Estimating teams, initiating client engagement early in the project development process and setting projects on a path for success by providing input on cost, schedule, logistics, constructability and other key influencers. Cotter will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Preconstruction & Estimating Department and ensuring a collaborative approach to leading projects through the design phase. He will also serve as a member of the company’s Executive Team.

Cotter joined Warfel in 2011 as a Project Estimator. He most recently served as Director of Preconstruction & Estimating.

Cotter graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Psychology and Harrisburg Area Community College with a B.S. in Estimating. He is a LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) Green Associate.

Cotter lives in Lititz, PA with his wife Kristen and daughters Mackenzie and Payton.
