Binder Promoted to Project Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Zarley Binder has been promoted to Project Manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for complete project oversight, coordination, schedule, and budget on a variety of projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.

“Zarley has shown that he holds Warfel’s core values at the top of his list,” said Guy Kingree, Project Executive at Warfel. “He battles through adversity and rallies his teams across the finish line of projects, maintaining strong relationships with our clients. We are excited to see his growth to this point of his career, and look forward to what the future holds for Zarley.”

A graduate of Penn State Harrisburg, Binder joined Warfel in 2015 as a Project Engineer. He is currently involved with several projects, including the $14M Frederick Living skilled care and administrative building in Frederick, PA.

Binder lives in Manor Township with his fiancé Kristy.

Keller Promoted to Project Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Dylan Keller has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new role, Keller will be responsible for complete project oversight, coordination, schedule, and budget on a variety of projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.

A graduate of Temple University, Keller joined Warfel in 2016 as a Field Engineer, and was promoted to Project Engineer in 2017. He is currently involved with several projects, including the revitalization project at 101 North Queen, a 200,000 sf conversion of the Bulova building in Downtown Lancaster.

Cotter Promoted to Director of Preconstruction & Estimating

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Sean Cotter, LEED GA to Director of Preconstruction & Estimating. In this new role, Cotter leads the newly combined Preconstruction & Estimating teams, initiating client engagement early in the project development process and setting projects on a path for success by providing input on cost, schedule, logistics, constructability, and other key influencers. Cotter will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Preconstruction & Estimating Department and ensuring a collaborative approach to leading projects through the design phase.

“We continuously look for opportunities to enhance our clients’ experience and improve our processes,” said Brett Calabretta, Vice President at Warfel Construction. “By combining these two departments, we feel we will achieve both. Sean has been a key contributor to our estimating department, and his leadership will allow us to continue the momentum that has been built over the past several years.”

Cotter joined Warfel in 2011 as a Project Estimator. He most recently served as Director of Estimating.

Cotter graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Psychology and from Harrisburg Area Community College with a B.S. in Estimating. He is a LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) Green Associate.

Cotter lives in Lititz, PA, with his wife Kristen and daughters Mackenzie and Payton.

Hartz Promoted to Field Operations Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce that Craig Hartz has been promoted to Field Operations Manager. In his new role, Hartz will lead Warfel’s Operations Team in hiring and resource planning, as well as spearhead new initiatives in standard operating procedures, training and development, and quality control enhancement.

A graduate of North Schuylkill School District in Ashland, PA, Hartz joined Warfel in 2001 as a Laborer and became a Foreman in 2010. Most recently, he was promoted to Superintendent in 2015. He has worked on an extensive list of award-winning projects throughout his time with Warfel, including the $2.1 million Georgelis Law Firm office, which received national recognition from Associated Builder and Contractors in 2015.

“Craig’s ability to lead outwardly, his field knowledge, and focus on serving teams through his tenure have positioned him to be well suited for this new position,” said Conlan Swope, Vice President of Operations. “Craig will play a significant role in hiring and development of Field Operations and providing greater clarity to refined processes and procedures of doing things the Warfel Way. All of these items will complement our ability to better service our customers and create more Clients for Life.”

Stahlnecker Promoted to Project Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Donald Stahlnecker has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new role, Stahlnecker will be responsible for complete project oversight, coordination, schedule, and budget on a variety of projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.

A graduate of Penn State University, Stahlnecker joined Warfel in 2014 as an Operations Intern, and started full time as a Project Engineer in 2015. He is currently managing several projects, including the Masonic Village Commandery Cottages, a $25 million, 72-unit cottage development in Elizabethtown, PA.

Stahlnecker lives in York, PA.

Lohss Promoted to Project Executive

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Fred Lohss has been promoted to Project Executive. In his new role, Lohss will be fully accountable for overseeing projects regarding client satisfaction, schedule, budget and team performance. He will be responsible to pre-plan and provide foresight for project teams in order to best serve Warfel’s clients.

A graduate of York County School of Technology, Lohss joined Warfel in 2002 as a Project Manager. He is currently managing several projects, including the $5.9 million, 22,000 square foot Aerzen USA office and manufacturing expansion in Coatesville, PA.

Lohss lives in Millersville with his wife Nancy and son Josh.

Goodyear Promoted to Senior Estimator

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Kyle Goodyear, LEED AP, has been promoted to Senior Estimator. In his new role, Goodyear will both lead and work alongside bid teams in the generation of negotiated and competitive bid estimates, and assist in the training of the East Petersburg-based estimating team.
A graduate of Penn State University, Goodyear joined Warfel in 2010 as a Project Engineer. Goodyear moved to the Estimating Department in 2015, and to date, has estimated projects totaling more than $175 million.
Goodyear lives in York with his wife and daughter.

Swope Promoted to Vice President of Operations

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Conlan Swope, LEED AP, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.

Swope joined Warfel in 2008 as a Project Intern. In 2009, he was hired as a Project Engineer, and was promoted to Project Manager in 2011. He most recently served as Operations Manager. In his new position, he will be responsible to manage the firm’s 100+ field operations and office operations employees, including manpower needs, logistics, and quality control. He also serves on Warfel’s executive team.

Swope graduated from Solanco High School and the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) Accredited Professional.

Moul Promoted to Project Manager

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Aaron Moul has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new role, Moul will be responsible for complete project oversight, coordination, schedule, and budget on a variety of projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.

A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Moul joined Warfel in 2013 as a Business Development Associate. He transitioned to Warfel’s Project Management team in 2014 as a Project Engineer. He is currently managing several projects, including Masonic Village at Burlington cottage expansion, Masonic Village Sewickley clubhouse renovation, and The Hill at Whitemarsh exercise addition.

Moul lives in Conshohocken, PA with his fiancé Meagan.

Hendershott Promoted to MEP Coordinator

Warfel Construction Company is pleased to announce Michael Hendershott has been promoted to Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Coordinator. In his new role, Hendershott will interact with all aspects of the project team from Business Development through Operations to assure the best project results, specifically focused on the MEP Systems.

The newly-created MEP coordinator position allows Warfel Construction to provide focused attention on these critical systems and offer clients additional value-added services from concept through completion, assuring that they receive the highest quality projects.

A graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Hendershott joined Warfel in June of 2015 as an estimator.
