Warfel Construction Company partnered with Home Depot of Lancaster to provide the eighth annual “Kids in Construction” event for students at Sacred Heart Preschool in Lancaster. Preschoolers and their parents spent Wednesday, March 30 at Warfel’s corporate office, learning how to use tools, and building wood crafts provided by Home Depot, as well as other construction-related activities.
“We love connecting with local organizations in our area; our store is very committed to the community,” said Jo Judd-Allgood, Captain of Kid’s Workshops at the Lancaster Home Depot. “This is our next generation of Home Depot shoppers and craftsmen/women.”
Linda Simpson serves as Director/Teacher for Sacred Heart Preschool. “My students from last year’s event still talk about this field trip to Warfel. They appreciate the hands-on experience and involvement from Home Depot and Warfel employees; we have some future builders in the preschool classes!”
