Warfel Construction Company began construction on a $2.2 million addition and renovation project for the Jennersville YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley. The 17,000 square foot addition will include a new wellness center and gymnasium/multi-purpose space. This area will also feature a unique stage that opens to the interior and the exterior of the building, creating an outdoor plaza where special events and activities will be hosted. An art studio and scene shop are also included. Renovations to over 6000 square feet of space will include new child watch areas and additional multi-purpose rooms.
This project, designed by Kramer Marks Architects of Ambler, PA, began in April and is expected to take approximately eight months to complete.
