Site Conditions and Ground Improvement for Muddy Creek Warehouse
Early site evaluations identified poorly compacted soil conditions that required stabilization before construction could proceed. Because of this, the project team implemented a ground improvement strategy using aggregate piers to strengthen the subgrade. A total of 1,048 aggregate piers were installed across the site to increase bearing capacity beneath structural footings. These piers consist of compacted stone columns placed in groups to improve soil performance and reduce settlement risk.
