Warfel’s internship program is quintessential for those who want to learn how to be true builders. This program has been built on getting your boots dirty in the field and intimately showing you the details of high-quality construction. Our ability to instill this foundation in college interns is the reason that our new employees excel past others in the industry upon entering the industry full-time.

The single biggest contributing success to this project was the team that was assembled for the project beginning with preconstruction […] The team consisted of highly skilled professionals that treated this project, my team, and everyone involved with full respect and collaboration. This not only was extended from your direct employees but also included the sub-contractors you selected for this project. I never had a feeling that the interest of the owner wasn’t being carefully protected through each phase of this project.

We want to thank Warfel Construction for their work to make this much needed student housing a reality. From your due diligence to identifying potential buildings in Lancaster, and then honing in on and vetting the 349 West Market Street property, you understood our vision and took to heart what we were trying to accomplish. Although in definite need of some TLC, system, overhauls, as well as accessibility to all floors, your team saw the vision for what this old warehouse could become.

This was a complex construction project on a highly visible, small site with a very ambitious schedule. Despite many challenges with the combination of new construction and major renovation, your team turned the lovely new building over to the school right on-time so that classes could begin as promised. Furthermore, your team worked diligently on the budget throughout resulting in significant savings being returned to the school.

There were many challenges, including many changes to the project scope by Aerzen, before and during the construction phase. These were always met with a willingness to work with us in order to find a way to accommodate our requests. We are very pleased with how the building turned out, and it has become a real showpiece for our commitment to our employees, our customers, and the environment. Being able to stay within our budget, ending with a building that surpassed expectations by our Management Team, and working with a great team of professionals on this project, surely made this a great experience for me and our company.
